    NMIT or Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore offers degree programmes at the Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG) and PhD (Doctorate) level in various disciplines like Engineering, Management & Business Studies and Computer Applications. Besides these, the institute also offers Diploma and Master Trainer Programs.

    The Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programmes offered at the institute are in the specializations including Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering as well as Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

    NMIT BTech Minimum Eligibility Criteria 2018

    Aspirants must have passed 2nd PUC / 12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology. In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

    Besides this, interested aspirants need to meet the eligibility requirements of COMEDK and Karnataka CET (KCET). While the eligibility criteria for COMEDK enlists aspects like academic requirements, marks obtained in qualifying exams, qualifying marks etc, the eligibility requirement for KCET involves criterias like academic qualification, domicile, category to which the candidate belongs, nationality etc. For more information on the detailed eligibility criteria of both the exams, please click on the link above.
